Most Eyeline issues can be resolved without losing your script, which is normally stored only in your browser.

Focus mode and controls
On a computer, click once in the reader if a browser or extension has intercepted the keyboard. Space plays or pauses, left and right move through the script, and up and down adjust pace. On a phone, use the larger on-screen controls.
Voice start and microphones
Allow microphone access when prompted, then choose the intended microphone in Reading setup. If no devices appear, confirm microphone permission in your browser and macOS or phone settings, then reload Eyeline.
Improve with ChatGPT
The beta requires a ChatGPT account and the connected Eyeline app. After Eyeline copies the request and opens ChatGPT, paste and send it. Review the proposal in ChatGPT, choose Send to Eyeline, then apply or discard it in Eyeline. Handoffs expire after 30 minutes; if one expires, create a new handoff from the original browser tab.
