The standard teleprompter

Your script, delivery cues, and reading settings are stored in your browser’s local storage so they can be there when you return. Eyeline does not receive that content during ordinary teleprompter use. Clearing the script or your browser’s site data removes the local copy.

Improve with ChatGPT

If you choose this optional feature, Eyeline sends your script, delivery cues, and selected reading settings to a temporary server record identified by a random handoff code. ChatGPT uses the connected Eyeline app to retrieve that draft, prepare the improvements you request, and return a structured proposal for your review.

The analysis happens in ChatGPT under your ChatGPT account and is also governed by OpenAI’s privacy terms and your ChatGPT data controls. Do not include sensitive personal, confidential, regulated, or third-party information that you are not permitted to share with OpenAI.

Retention and deletion

Temporary handoffs expire after 30 minutes. They become inaccessible at expiration and are purged during routine cleanup. When you apply or discard a returned plan in Eyeline, its server record is deleted immediately. The resulting script and settings remain only in your browser unless you share them again.

Service data and providers

Our hosting infrastructure may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser details, timestamps, and security or error logs to deliver and protect the service. Eyeline is hosted using OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. ChatGPT and the Eyeline ChatGPT app are provided through OpenAI. We do not sell scripts or personal information, and we do not use speech content for advertising.

Your choices

You can use Eyeline without the AI feature, decline or disconnect the Eyeline app in ChatGPT, discard an AI proposal, clear your local script, or clear this site’s browser storage at any time.
